Animation Block Party is the premier animation festival of the East Coast.

Since the first official ABP film festival on September 9th, 2004 - thousands of filmmakers have submitted their animated shorts and screened them at the yearly fest in Brooklyn, NY.

The tenth annual Animation Block Party is July 25-28, 2013 at The Music Hall of Williamsburg, Rooftop Films & BAMcinématek.

ABP is dedicated to exhibiting all genres of the world's best independent, professional and student animation.

The 10th anniversary edition of Animation Block Party kicks off on July 25th with an Opening Night concert at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. Adam Green and Binki Shapiro will be headlining the event with an opening performance by Dovecote recording artist Hooray For Earth. Les Savy Fav frontman and comedian Tim Harrington will host. The evening will feature exclusive animation content from Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and Pixar. Adam Green and Binki Shapiro's self titled debut album was released on Rounder Records in January. Hooray For Earth are currently finishing the follow up totheir 2010 debut full-length album - True Loves.
