The Kids Zone is big part of CEMF, this year we will offer Saturday a family day where you can bring your children 12 and under for free with the accompaniment of their parents or guardian Between the hours of 12pm -5pm.

All we ask is you stay with your children at all time, there will be volunteers to assist you with the bouncy castles and information on children’s works shops to come. 

Please this is not a day care any unattended children will be taken to the Lost Persons tent to await their pick up by parent who can prove their identity.

Located in the lower level of the cement structure CEMF ART WALK is a collaboration of Calgary unique artist. There you will be able to loose your self in color and creation items will be for sale or just viewing. 



COMMUNITY GROUPS: BURNT TOAST STUDIOS !!

The 5 founding members of Burnt Toast Studio (BTS) first met in 1993 while studying printmaking at the Alberta College of Art & Design. Together they endured cramped and dark studios. During those years strong friendship developed between the studio members, as well as an artistic camaraderie that created cross-influence and led to collaborative works. 

Since it formed in 2000, BTS has gained new members working in new disciplines. It continues as an atmosphere in which the members can be part of something larger than themselves. They support each other and show their work together. Members explore screen-printing, etching, relief, mixed media, papermaking, painting, drawing and sculpture.

The Calgary Electronic Music Festival Stage is a sprit and community driven stage. The purpose of this stage is to offer a space for local DJ’s, Producers, & Musicians of electronic music. To help them gain exposure and promotion of their music and skill with in the city of Calgary. Stage line-up is chosen through competition were DJ’s, Producers, & Musicians submit a short bio plus downloadable demo. The CEMF committee will then listen to the entry’s and decide the line-up. Entry’s can be submitted for 2013 after January 1st 2013 - May 30th 2013.
