With vast exposure to several genres of music, this spunkyCuban American girl lived in a home where it soared across the airwaves 24/7.And Charli loved it! Because Charli knew that on good days or bad days, musicwas the only thing that inspired her endless smile.She studied music that spoke to her existence, influencing the uniquetone that would become signature for her. Studies of classical music and EllaFitzgerald would inspire the vocal tone that had people urging her towardsuccessor of many prominent songstresses, but Charli first had to find her ownvoice, to earn respect from fans and peers alike by being herself and expressingit through good music. It wasn’t until her teens that she found a way.She’d been exposed to four major influences that helped shape hersound; French- Electro, Acid Jazz, Trip-Hop, and Industrial.
