HONOLULU, HI –  Jet Setter Productions, Honolulu’s freshest independent music production company, who recently brought The English Beat, presents internationally recognized indie/dance rock band City City, live in Honolulu. City City, on spring tour across the U.S., make their Hawaii debut performance at SoHo Mixed Media Bar on Friday, April 26.

City City is a five-piece indie rock band, driven by synth sounds, guitar effects, and a touch of pop. According to Kate B. of OurStage.com, City City is "...an exploding cascade of synths and skittering, ersatz drum beats... City City marries their looming synthetic textures and beats with cool, ethereal (and thankfully human) vocals. Theirs is a match made in heaven."  Based in Los Angeles, the band was founded in 2006 by Dan McCollister (vocals), Jeff Kirchner (guitar, synth, engineer), and Kyle Minichelli (guitar, synth), and new additions Jarett Portnoy (drums) and Valerie Ngai (bass). 

City City’s first music video, “The Network,” was a featured release on OurStage.com. Word spread all the way to Germany with a mention in Blonde, a German fashion magazine. “The Network” went on to be chosen as one of Fuse.tv’s “Fuse On-Demand” July 2010 Sonicbids Contest winners and was a featured video in Skope Magazine.

Sounding better-than-ever and boasting a dedicated fan base, City City is poised to bring a unique blend of radio-friendly, danceable electro-pop to fans everywhere.
