Matt Bekhterev discovered his passion for Hardstyle while attending school in Vancouver. Eager to take his love for music to the next level, he began spinning under the alias DJ Ems. He was quickly noticed by the biggest event promoters in British Columbia and was invited to play several massive shows. A few months later, Silas Radies, a long-time friend, began making guest appearances along with Matt during shows. Soon after, it was clear that their live teamwork was something special and they quickly established themselves as a premiere Canadian hard dance duo. The new project was an instant success and they were soon performing at massive Vancouver events along with club residencies. Despite their local status, the team dreams past the boundaries of the Canadian tundra. With several hard-hitting releases on the way, the duo is excited to make a statement in the North American Hard Dance scene.

As solo artists, Chi-gu Kom, DJ Noel, Necroflesh and Spear, their influences range from hard dance to industrial to death metal. Pyrotense is a Hard Dance Hardstyle project started in 2008. They are inspired by artists from Daft Punk to Angerfist and are a mix of all flavors of EDM focused into hard dance. They came to be as Pyro combined forces with DJ Zymurgy in 2011, who was at the time, a well-established hardstyle DJ in the Portland area. With their tastes and experience combined, the tracks produced by the duo have been hitting the scene hard. The unique sounds of Pyrotense are quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with.
