Tuesdays are always lively and free at Open Mic with Ceni in the Abbey at HopMonk Sebastopol.  Hear incredible local talent and be among the first to hear up-and-coming acts.  Many bands have formed at this weekly event and Ceni strives to promote a respectful and supportive musical community.  In fact, the first Tuesday of every month will be loosely dedicated to musicians actively looking to join or create bands.

Musicians wanting to play:  signups are by email only.  Email Ceni@ after 3:00pm on Tuesday. The list usually fills up by 3:45pm so please be prompt.  C e n i @ HopMonk -dot- com

Ceni will make the list and personally respond to everyone with yay or nay by 5:30pm.  Newcomers and first timers are welcome and will get priority.  You will get 2 songs or 10 minutes (whichever comes first.)

HopMonk provides vocal and instrument mics, 1/4" cables, DIs for plugging in instruments directly, an 1/8" AUX input for mp3 players and a friendly, supportive crowd.  Amps are welcome but not required.  We can accommodate bands and we are cover-friendly.

Each week a previously selected headline act will grace the stage at 8:05pm for 30 minutes.

This is a music-only open mic.  Spoken word is fine but please, for the love of God, no comedy.  Comedy potentially occurs on the third Sunday each month in the HopMonk Abbey.
