Steve Dimon had a major debilitating stroke April 22, 2012. He was completely paralyzed on his left side, was on life support and could not walk, lift his arm or move his fingers legs or toes, his speech was slurred and his face disfigured. Literally frozen in time! He was in the hospital for a month and going through stroke therapy until just recently being released July 27th. He's expected to make a full or near-full recovery based on his rigorous therapeutic regimen. Stroke recovery is generally measured not in days or weeks or months, but in years of painful repetitious grueling therapy! He is writing a book about his stroke recovery experience & journey and is starting this Stroke Foundation to help others navigate the chaos of a stroke experience and eventually open Super Stroke Survivor facilities.
