The cult of DJ Irene began at Hollywood's mega club Arena. Here, her DJ and life dramas played out through her mixing and publicly on the dance floor. This only made people love her more and helped her to see how she could give back by leading a positive life with the music. She says, "At one point I realized that I am not just playing records to the same people every weekend. These people care about me, more than I care for myself. I knew I had to make them proud by being proud of myself, by taking care of myself, by being the best."

The best for DJs is selling more mix CDs than any other DJ in her genre, it is non-stop touring at every major music festival and at the best clubs around the world, it is having pop culture and rock journalists queuing to get interviews, it is being the DJ whom some DJs fear having to play after and being the DJ that younger DJs want to be. Ken C first started DJing at the age of 19, with a history in musical background from playing all types of instruments while he was younger, developing into a DJ of his caliber was no surprise. He picked up the skills quickly and is one of the most thriving up and coming DJs in the Bay Area. His style of spinning, a mix of Top 40, Mash-Ups, House & 80's and his ability to control a crowd definitely separates him from the rest. In 2003, he was given a chance to DJ at the Forum now called Abyss in Sunnyvale and has yet to look back. He now has DJed at every major club in San Francisco, including Club NV, City Nights, Suite 181, Slide, Mission Rock, Supperclub, Fluid and many more in the San Francisco Bay Area.

In 2007, he decided to take music more seriously, and decided to learn more about audio engineering and production. His commitment towards becoming more than just a DJ has brought him to this point where he has produced for Bay Area up and coming artists, and starting this year in 2010 has started a buzz around his house oriented remixes. With the internet he was able to distribute his bootleg remixes through many channels, including being featured on mix CDs and music blogs. His remixes have found their way all across the world with over 25,000 counted downloads.

Crossing the borders from being a “club DJ” over to becoming a world class electronica artist/DJ is not an easy task to do, but he is determined that his talent and hard work will help him succeed.
