The Bay Area joins 60 parties in 21 countries around the globe to celebrate the first human spaceflight! 44 years ago, Soviet Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin made history with his pioneering flight to the stars. We'll also celebrate the "T-Minus 1 Month" countdown point for the Space Shuttle's Return to Flight! (Set for May 15, 2005!)
