YEMEN BLUES
"Shaped by his origins as a Yemeni Jew, the fascinating voice of Ravid Kahalani brilliantly evokes the musical universe of his ancestors." — World Connection
Neither Yemeni nor a blues band, this nine-piece Israeli-American group has recently taken the international music scene by storm. After touring the world as the primary vocalist in the Idan Raichel Project, singer Ravid Kahalani joined forces with powerhouse upright bass player and composer Omer Avital to create Yemen Blues – a breathtaking synergy of traditional Yemenite melodies with blues, jazz and funk. The collective has captivated audiences around the globe with their amazing live performances. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience Yemen Blues in their exciting Miami debut.
