Supremely, inflexibly intense in all the right ways, is it any wonder that L.A.’s drought isn’t about water so much as it is of all events HARD? Good news then to all the feening fans out there grinding their teeth in frustration since HARD NYE because HARD 13 is staking out a spot on the calendar for March 13th. Setting up house at Club Nokia, HARD 13 returns for 2010 ready to tear things up and serve out another impressive celebration of electronic dance music at its very best.
It’s no secret that Gary Richards (a.k.a. Destructo), the driving force behind the insanely successful HARD events, makes no bones about how seriously he takes the selection of HARD events talent. The man is uncompromising about quality and has hand-picked seriously legit talent time and time again with telling results. While there are parties that just churn out grinding beats for the dance-hungry to bob their noodles to and get their fix, HARD is not one of them. HARD showcases only those artists at the forefront of the EDM scene and hauls the genre into authentic art form territory.
The line up for HARD 13 2010? Fake Blood, Jack Beats, Boy 8-Bit, and Destructo himself suitably housed in Club Nokia, the new kid on the venue block, but for all that, already making an impressive name for itself for the wide variety of worldwide talent and big names that have graced the venue’s stage. Destined for epic intensity, HARD 13 will hit that discerning dance music junkie right smack in the neural sweet spot. Party people rejoice.
