When technology slinked into our lives and planted its mechanical feet into receptive soil, great things sprung forth.  To name one game-changing byproduct, electronic dance music.  For another, the means to sweep boredom under the rug and indulge in a steady stream of recreational stimulation not previously enjoyed by people too busy doing their laundry by the river with some sticks and rocks.

Cue on over to the present moment.  Technology has made a few things easier, but it has also raised the bar for expectations and shrunk attention spans to the size of a shriveled peanut.  We want our fun fresh and fast and we want it NOW.  It’s a relief then that someone’s stepping up the plate to deliver the goods and serve up some seriously satisfying nighttime romps.   And by someone, we mean master class event crew Insomniac.  Known for its hedonistic and head-bobbing dance music extravaganzas Electric Daisy Carnival and Nocturnal Festival, Insomniac has carved the West Coast’s party path for over a decade now.  In an exciting new move to shake up LA nightlife, Décor was born.

Seeking to mix glamorous old Hollywood with the constantly self-reinventing electronic music scene of LA into a tasty cocktail of scintillating proportions, Décor trots out the hottest roster of guest DJs (think Sander Kleinenberg, Benny Benassi, Nick Warren, and Dave Seaman) in the heart of a Hollywood legend—The Music Box.  Newly unveiled from a complete makeover, the glittering venue of the Golden Age boasts the blinding splendor of the Roaring Twenties while welcoming the newest beats to Tinseltown every Saturday night, all for your partying pleasure.
