To the Joe Sixpacks and Average Janes out there, it might as well be a keg stand of crazy talk no one’s down to guzzle. When you cut down to the meat of the matter, the stuff’s not rocket science. Think back to the time you heard a song that rocked your socks off.  Good songs have a way of tuning your emotions. Sounds layer, change pace, and linger on long after they’re over, taking you on a subliminal mental vacation while you auto pilot through your piles of laundry. Masters of the craft know just how to manipulate the unwitting listener into a sprawling field of bliss and DJ/producer Alex Kenji (aka Alessandro Bacci) is just such a wily beat savant.

With finesse, Kenji eschews bombarding his audience with the hard and fast, instead opting for a more subtle approach that captures the imagination and lingers long after the song is over. Over ten years of producing and performing, Kenji has crafted a sound that is fluid, slyly weaving together elements of house, techno, and pop with memorable flourishes like flamenco guitar slipped in to create a unique dance floor experience. This March 4th, Alex Kenji is prepped to create a night of great music and flat out fun at Vanguard LA with the help of Freddy Be, Adam Auburn, and Darwin Paul.
